It’s been a wonderful start to the year. We have lots of new faces, new teachers and new classes. All of the kindergarten children seemed to have settled in well and absolutely love all the classes, so hats off to you my wonderful teachers!

I would like to welcome our new teachers Charlie and Marissa who are teaching the Drama class in Rozelle and Leichhardt. Madison who is teaching dance on a Wednesday and Taylor who is also teaching dance on a Tuesday in Rozelle and Wednesday’s in Leichhardt.

I’m hoping the weather is going to be good for us at our showcase at Memorial Park on 29th March (if it rains it will be the week after). I thought it might be a nice idea to do something different and perform somewhere other than a stage and a nice way to show you what the children have been doing this term (Leichhardt Wednesday classes only) The children will perform in different parts of the park and it will start at 5pm.

In Term 2 we have some NEW classes starting – Musical Monday’s in Leichhardt this will include singing (with mics) drumming, musical theatre, stomping, playing musical instruments to create a musical production to perform on stage (or the park….ha ha) This class is only $20 per class (and includes extended care until 6pm) SATURDAY – Drama classes – because the kids just can’t get enough and LOVE the class! Note for the diary……..CONCERT DATE 9TH SEPTEMBER in Leichhardt again. The children will start rehearsing for this Mid way through Term 2.
